Spring is my favourite season, partly because of the sun and the fact that it's not TOO warm but mostly because it starts with my birthday! Meaning that I may actually stand a chance of getting these clothes... Also I've noticed that most the brands I like are either Swedish or French lately (and expensive) only one item on my wishlist isn't from a swedish/french brand.

This spring is gonna be all about primary colours and classic jacket cuts, including the Moto Jacket and Varsity Jacket but with fresh fabrics and colour pallets.

Modern Minimalism in Mens Fashion

ACNE Spring/Summer 2013

Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2013

Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2013
Costume National Homme Spring/Summer 2013

Issey Miyake Spring/Summer 2013

Phillip Lim Spring/Summer 2013
Minimalism in Mens Fashion challenges the ideals of mainstream style and that's what's so interesting about it,  the irony of it is that with so many designers adopting the style its destined to work its way down to high street outlets and have a major influence on the future of men's fashion. The likelihood for spring/summer 2013 is that a lot of retailers stock considerably more white alongside black and hopefully a more diverse range of fabrics which is needed to achieve this aesthetic.

Inspiration: 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2013 (Minimalism)

Phillip lim and his minimalist aesthetic is something that has really appealed to me for a really long time and I think its something I'm going to try to aim for next spring. I love the colour combinations, a lot of khaki but it doesn't look dumpy it looks crisp, especially when paired black and baby blue, it sounds so wrong but looks perfect together. I being English especially appreciate the fact that their is still a black outfit or two in there.
