H&M Men's Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook Revealed!

Following the somewhat flamboyant Versace for H&M collection certainly isn't an easy task for the H&M team, however the Men's Spring/Summer Lookbook, whilst still going back to its H&M roots seems to have taken inspiration from the high fashion house that is Versace.

Ditching the complex prints of the Versace collection and returning to H&M's simple and nautical roots, the lookbook opens with a navy double-breasted blazer, however the bright-orange trousers take inspiration from the colour pallet of the Versace collection.

Fluorescent tones are carried through the collection. I can't be sure if this is a welcome addition to the H&M collections.

This particular outfit feels very much rooted to the H&M brand although the sandals do seem to take inspiration from the Swedish brands newest design collaboration with Italian designer Marni.

After this suit was shown the inspiration taken from the Versace collection was undeniable, although the suit was slightly played down.

Overall I like the collection. It's considerably less brash than the Versace collection, but retains a certain finish that previous lookbooks just didn't have.
